Due to Haiti's on going political crisis and the larger world's financial crisis, the 4th Edition of Festival Film Jakmèl for November 2008 has proven impossible to fund and therefore has been postponed.

We apologize for the disappointment this causes.

While the Festival attracted strong international programming support and encouraging sponsorship pledges from a number of Haitian companies and many individuals, it failed to gain the adequate support from other key players including foreign governments and Haitian government ministries.
