JOB TRAINING

A principal goal of the festival is to provide job training for both local staff members and aspiring film and audio technicians.

Staff members receive training in festival production and management. Technical teams are instructed in audio engineering, recording and session management on Pro Tools. Local technicians and talent have been trained to produce in entirety the Creole dubbing of films featured in the Festival. Additional areas of Staff Training focus on Administration, Film Acquisitions, Graphic Design, Guest Services Coordination, Logistics Management, Technical Execution and Website construction.

Intensive Training Courses in various aspects of filmmaking and event production are offered throughout the year.
